Elise Marcianti is a Mount Beauty-based multidisciplinary artist and climber whose work is deeply shaped by time spent outdoors. Whether climbing, hiking or trail running through the mountains around her, she draws inspiration from those moments of awe to inform her graphics, murals and sculptural pieces.

LIVING LIFE ON THE EDGE

We asked Elise what inspired her design:

“I wanted to capture two of my favourite places to climb at Mount Buffalo - the Horn (Peroxide Blonde) and the Cathedral (Maharajah) - and my favourite (and quite rare flowers) at Mount Buffalo, pink finger orchid. I’ve also included native wattle and climbing gear - chalk bag, SCARPA shoes, cams, ATC and a hand ‘clipping’ lead climbing."
